I’m deeply passionate about supporting children in their emotional and social development. I’ve spent over 25 years as a public school teacher, earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and a Master’s in Educational Technology along the way. I’m also a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Instructor and a Breathe for Change Certified Social Emotional Learning Facilitator. My journey into this field has been both personal and professional, as I am the proud parent of a child with autism. Several years ago, I found myself struggling to help my child navigate social skills and emotional regulation. Despite trying countless books and programs, nothing seemed to help. I felt as if I was failing my child and my family.

Everything changed in 2015 when I was introduced to the Social Thinking and Zones of Regulation curriculum. The positive impact these programs had on my child’s life was nothing short of transformative. Motivated by this success, I sought out further training to bring social learning and emotional wellness practices not only to my family but also to my school and community. My experiences as both an educator and a parent have shaped my mission to provide compassionate, evidence-based strategies to help children thrive socially and emotionally. I am committed to helping young people develop the skills they need to succeed in school, at home, and in life.
